Take the journey together.

Reading God's Word is one of the greatest ways to grow in your spiritual life.  Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).  As we enter a new year, we want to invite you to join us on a journey in God's Word through daily Bible reading.  

Often one of the challenges to reading scripture is simply not having a plan of where to begin or what to read.  In addition, many plans are overly ambitious for the average Bible reading, resulting in us falling behind and ultimately giving up.  The goal of this plan is to provide a simple and achievable plan to read through the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs in 2018.  We believe that this plan will encourage your faith as you to get to know Jesus better.  Don't worry if you fall behind, just pick back up on the appropriate date and keep moving forward.  Remember the goal is not just to get through the Bible, but to get the Bible through you.

Consider setting aside 15-20 minutes each morning to begin your day with scripture and prayer.  It may be helpful to use a notebook or journal to record your thoughts, prayers and reflections.  We hope this plan is helpful to you and we look forward to providing more resources to help grow your faith for everything God has for you in 2018.
