A VISION FOR THE CITY
We love our city and, more importantly, we believe that God loves our city! One Church Park District was started with a passion reach the cultural core of Orlando with the love and good news of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to be a church that seeks the wellbeing of the city and advances the common good of our neighbors by sharing and demonstrating the gospel of the kingdom.
OUR CITY
Within Central Florida, this area represents a center of tremendous influence for several reasons. First, Orlando is the most visited city in America and quickly becoming a world-class city. Second, our city is among the fastest growing cities in America, recently named America’s fastest growing city in 2017 by Forbes Magazine. Lastly, the "Park District” community of Orlando and Winter Park represents the cultural core of the city as a fast-growing epicenter of education, business, arts and entertainment. Projections estimate that the population of downtown Orlando will double by 2030, with an additional 15,000 students attending the University of Central Florida and Valencia downtown campuses as a part of the thriving Creative Village.
With that in mind, we believe that One Church Park District is uniquely positioned to make an eternal impact on the lives of those in our community. As 2018 approaches we are excited to focus in a great way than ever before on reaching our community through a number of community outreach and serving initiatives.
YOUR PART
We are asking that each one of you prayerfully consider partnering with us in the coming months for our “One For Orlando” campaign, as a part of our Together On Mission offering. The goal of this campaign is to raise $20,000 in to fully fund our outreach budget for 2018. This will allow us as a church to be in a position of strength and to increase our efforts towards reaching our community.
With the Christmas season behind us, we believe there would be no better way to express our thanks to God for the gift of His Son than to give our very best back to him. Perhaps some of you would feel compelled to do something significantly greater as you are able. Please understand that this offering campaign is with no pressure or obligation for you. Rather, we believe this is an opportunity for each of us to partner with God’s mission and to offer what the Apostle Paul calls “a sweet smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God” (Philippians 4:18).
OUR CAUSES
THREE ALPHA SERIES
(8 weeks each) - $7,000
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over 7-10 weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.

LOCAL ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

We want to spread the news of what God is doing at our church through a thoughtful advertising campaign focused on the immediate neighborhoods surrounding the Orlando Museum of Art and the communities of downtown Orlando, Winter Park, Baldwin Park, College Park and Maitland. Our goal is that everyone in this area has the opportunity to encounter God at One Church.

OUTREACH EVENTS

As a part of our outreach strategy we want to extend the reach of our church through large-scale community events. These events are opportunities to increase our exposure in the community and to build a bridge with those who may not otherwise attend a church service.

GO-TEAM DEVELOPMENT

We believe every passion can be turned into a purpose. The vision for GO Teams is to mobilize small groups of individuals with a shared passion into Kingdom purpose. These teams could take the form of combatting human trafficking, serving the homeless, or even engaging in the civic process of our community for the glory of God.
